Customer had a portion of their driveway that had drainage issues and decided they would like it block paved at the same time as solving the drainage problem. Concrete was broken up and removed, suitable sub base installed followed by brindle blocks with a charcoal block border. An ako drain the width of the area solved the drainage problem. We also raised a portion of the adjoining blocks that had become uneven to ensure water drained away. To finish we cut the grass and jet washed their patio ?

A customer was fed up of having to step onto the grass when getting out their car, especially with winter weather looming. We created a new path, a doorstep and a small patio to tidy the full front way up. As well as extending and changing the block paving to charcoal to match the charcoal border. Start of a large job for us in Beverley, removing approximately 90sqm of tarmac and replacing with Indian sandstone paving and turfing the remaining. Complicated by the fact in places the finished tarmac layer was the top layer of 4 or 5 different layers including, stone, concrete, more tarmac and finally York stone pavers 4” thick and measuring 1000x500mm. #beverley #hull #landscaping #gardenmaintenance

After clearing 14 tons of old stone and soil, we installed a drain to allow the surface water to drain away. Area was levelled with additional sub base and compacted down. Block kerb edges reinstalled to retain the border better. Finished off with 10 tonnes of Yorkshire Cream stone. We dug it out, added new top soil, some gravel boards to protect the fence a little and levelled it off with just a gradual slope towards the bottom of the garden to follow the new path. Not going to lie, thought the weather was beating us at one point…it was a bit of a mud bath, luckily it dried out in time to get the turf down. #turf #landscaping
